a matter of style
aware of pollution, but unwilling to change their lifestyle. It is a problem that no one wants to face.
The Italians are very concerned about pollution. Yet many are still those who insist on changing their lifestyle, only 28.1% would be willing to give up car ownership and 36.3% to replace their appliances with more efficient ones. This is the response of a survey of New Ecology, the Environment League Monthly, which showed the urgent need for rethinking of global energy systems, models of development and use of consumer goods.
The fact that the pollution is caused by human activities there is an almost total awareness: they have convinced the 87, 2% of Italians, and 64,8% ritiene che l’effetto serra sia una questione da risolversi con urgenza.
