We often ask people what they can do to try to change things in our city. In Palermo, some citizens from different neighborhoods, they are self-organized and are supporting an initiative to ask the municipal redevelopment of an area near Piazza A. Einstein (round via Leonardo da Vinci), currently left to itself, to direct it to the garden public facilities. The area would accommodate office buildings in the region, but (and thankfully) have never been realized. The initiative was supported by the FAI, Italy Nostra, Legambiente, Mobility Palermo, Palermo, and Save the WWF, which together are supporting a petition to request, through a proposed resolution, a variant of the planning, fund named Jasmine and direct it to public parks.
Cities Network, sensitive to environmental issues, is committed to supporting the initiative, giving visibility to the project and invites everyone to sign to collect the 3,000 signatures needed. You can print the attached file following the link at the bottom of the page and you also give a contribution to the initiative. The points for the collection of signatures are:
